Ingredients:
- Chole- 1Tb spoon
- Kaali daal- 1Tb spoon
- Rajma- 1 Tb spoon
- Onion- 2 chopped
- Tomato- 1
- Garlic- 1Tb spoon or 5 pieces
- Bay leaf-1
- Cardamom- 3
- Cloves- 4
- Star anies-1
- Kashmiri chilly- 1 (Optional)
- Cumin- 1 Spoon
- Cumin powder- 1 Spoon
- Turmeric- 1Spoon
- Chilly powder- ½ spoon
- Kashmiri chilly powder- 1spoon
- Coriander powder- 1 spoon
- Coriander leaves
STEP-1
First we need to soak Rajma, chole and kaali daal (black pulses) into water for 4-5 hours.
Tip– If you have no time for 4 hours to soak so make it in hot water and add 1 pinch of baking soda so it will easily get soaked.
STEP-2
Oil- 1 Tb spoon
Cumin
Bay leaf
Chopped onion
Garlic paste
Take a pressure cooker and make 3 -4 whistles of soaked items.
In hot oil add cumin, bay leaf and chopped onion, when it turns golden then add garlic paste.
STEP-3
Salt
Turmeric
Chilly powder
Kashmiri chilly powder
Coriander powder
Tomato
Add all spices and chopped tomato and mix it well. Let it cook till oil separates.
When oil get separates then add boiled item in low flame for 5mins.
Add 2 cup of water and again wait for 5 minutes. Add some coriander leaves for garnish and easy daal takda is ready to serve with Chapati or steamed rice with salad !

Total time – 40 Minutes
Cook time- 30 Minutes
